Painted Finishes 2

The client in this case wished to change the color of this weather-worn painted curtain wall. Custom Metal prepared the surface by cleaning and abrading, then applied a specialty paint in the color of the client's choosing.

Painted Finishes 1

This bronze door and transom had been previously painted. However, the client had only a limited budget for refurbishing the entrance. Custom Metal stripped the door of old paint, chemically etched the surface, primed and then sprayed the elements with an antique brown urethane paint. The result is a deep, lustrous look that the customer could afford.

The processes listed here are the basics for paint finishing or restoration. Any one or a combination of techniques can be used to achieve the look desired for your painted architectural surfaces.
